I met my husband and didn’t blink an eye when he told me had kids. I knew having an ex-wife could lead to some challenges, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

I grew up with two families, having both a stepmom and stepdad. I had years of experience working with children. My educational experience revolves around children, teaching, and studying social problems. I really thought this stepmom role would be easy. Wow…was I wrong…

My stepmom role was a rollercoaster of emotions. Feelings emerged that I had never experienced. Yes, I felt blessed to have a supportive husband/best friend/teammate. I felt proud of being a stepmom of two awesome girls, but every day I was challenged in this role. I felt like no one understood what I was going through, until I reached out to a stepmom coach. She became a guide on my journey. She helped me find tools and techniques to decrease the stress and  anxiety. Through my coaching and self-development I became an empowered stepmom. My marriage became even better and our family life became more manageable. Life became peaceful again.

One thing I learned on my journey is that the truth hurts, but it can also heal. I’ve encountered many truth bombs on my journey which have facilitated major growth in my life and marriage, all because I was vulnerable and receptive to learning.

If you’re in a stepfamily role and you’re seeking support or positive solutions to facilitate growth in your life, then you’re in the right place. I’m passionate about paying it forward by connecting with stepparents and stepchildren to help them transform their experience. I’m also determined to eliminate the stepmom stigma and create a positive impact in the world, one stepfamily at a time.

My clients are people who want to be empowered in their stepfamily role and protect what they love they most.
